Robert W. Booher, Doctor of Medicine
Dr. Booher has been with Knoxville Pediatric Associates, P.C. since 1997. He practiced addiction medicine in Maryville for 22 years prior to completing his pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee Memorial Hospital in 1997.
He earned his bachelorís degree from Carson Newman College and continued his education at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Center for Health Sciences College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his internship at Driscoll Childrenís Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX, and his residency from the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
He is licensed by the state of Tennesse and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is also certified in addiction medicine by the American Society for Addiction Medicine. He is a member of the Blount County Medical Society, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Booher is well "rooted" in East Tennessee. He is a Knoxville native and is married to Donna McArthur, a Maryville native. He has three children and enjoys hiking, camping and cycling.
