Robert W. Booher, Doctor of Medicine
Dr. Booher has been with Knoxville Pediatric Associates, P.C. since 1997. He practiced addiction medicine in Maryville for 22 years prior to completing his pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee Memorial Hospital in 1997.
He attended Carson Newman College and the University of Tennessee where he received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his internship at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX, and his residency from the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
He is licensed by the state of Tennesse and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is also certified in addiction medicine by the American Society for Addiction Medicine. He is a member of the Blount County Medical Society, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Booher is well "rooted" in East Tennessee. He is a Knoxville native and is married to Donna McArthur, a Maryville native. He has three adult children and enjoys hiking and cycling.
