Dr.Yen joined Knoxville Pediatric Associates, P.C. in 1996 and helped establish a second location in Farragut for the Weisgarber/Farragut physicians. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Duke University in 1989 and her medical degree from Vanderbilt University Medical School in 1993. She completed her internship and residency at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants. Dr. Yen is a Fellow member of American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of International Board of Certified Lactation Examiners. She serves on KPA's KPAce committee which helps oversee our electronic health records. Dr. Yen is married, has one child and two golden retrievers. She is an active member of the Tennessee Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. She enjoys exercising, scrapbooking and jewelry making.
